A Food-Print of a Human: Will our planet be able to feed its growing population?

Liza Litvak, Ph.D. will present a 15-minute video entitled, "Turning water into food", a lecture by Dr. Bruce Bugbee.  She will then conduct a discussion on Bugbee's points. Dr. Bugbee, one of the top experts in the field of Agricultural studies, is professor at Utah State University. He is director of the Crop Physiology Laboratory and is internationally known for his research with NASA.

Dr. Litvak earned a B.Sc. diploma cum laude in Physics from Moscow State University in Russia, and both M.S. and Ph.D. in Earth System Science from the University of California, Irvine. Her research is focused on the study of plant-water relations and their role in shaping urban climates and water budgets.
