This year’s theme is “Connecting Farm to Community”, continuing the outreach mission of the FAMU Farm Festival, which promotes public awareness of the full scope of the “land-grant concept” in education, embracing teaching, research and extension (outreach) at FAMU.
This family–friendly event is open the public, as all will enjoy the “Farm to Fork” food tasting, agricultural demonstration, youth activities, exhibits, farm tours and much more.
Cost to attend: $5 adults, kids are free.
Included in this event are four workshops you have the option to attend:
- 10:30 a.m. Protected Agriculture & Urban Agriculture
- 11:30 a.m. Culinary Mixology: Herb & Fruit Infused Drinks and Fresh Garden Vegetable Medley
- 12:30 p.m. Introduction to Organic Farming
- 1:30 p.m. Estate Planning & Heir Property

Directions: From downtown Quincy, go north on Adams Street (the west side of the Courthouse), and follow it north (it becomes Bainbridge Highway, Hwy 267) until you reach the Extension Center on the left.
